4/13/12 - next week is the last week for the Coed Int 6's league. Intermediate 4's is done. The following week, 4/26, both Power 6's and Women's 4 will have double headers to finish up both of their leagues (some matches from each will also be on court #2, requiring a net change to women's height at 8:30)
4/6/12 - next week is the last week for the Intermediate 4's league.
3/30/12 - Coed Int 6's has completed round robin play and has 3 weeks left. I am breaking the league into two smaller groups for more even competition; the top 6 teams and the lower 4 teams. The top 6 will do a 3 week bracket play... with the first week being 1st vs 5th, 2nd vs 6th and 3rd vs 4th. The bottom 4 will play every other team once.
3/30/12 - Women's 4's has also completed round robin play and has 4 weeks left. I am breaking the league into two smaller groups for more even competition; the top 5 teams and the lower 4 teams. The top 5 will play every other team once. The bottom 4 will play every other team once and then finish with head-to-head play.
3/30/12 - Schedules will be done weekly from here on out.
Session 2 Thursday leagues began Feb 2nd. The schedules thru March 29 (9 weeks) have been posted. Both the Coed Int 6's and the Women's 4 leagues complete their round robin play on that date. Then I will break those leagues up a bit and do some bracket play for them for the rest of the season. Due to the large number of special requests, I cannot do any more scheduling for any of the leagues until after 3/29.
We have 7 Power 6's teams, 9 Women's 4's teams, 10 Coed Int 6's teams, and 4 Intermediate 4's teams. We will be playing 4 matches most every night on 3 courts and 2 matches on a 4th.
The Intermediate 4's finish on 4/12, Coed Int 6's on 4/19, and Power 6's and Women's 4's on 4/26.
Due to the odd number of teams in both the Power 6's and Women's 4's leagues combined with a shortage of available court space, there will be a bye each night in those leagues. I will try to have double headers on 4/26 to finish up the matches for these 2 leagues.
Also, FYI, for the 5 weeks between Feb 23 and Mar 22 there will be junior high school league matches on courts 1 & 2 so our leagues playing on those courts normally will move to courts 4 & 5 and the Intermediate 4's will move to courts 1/2 at 8:30 or 9:30 times.
