Session 2 Thursday leagues began Feb 2nd.   The schedules will be posted as I can get them worked out.

We have 7 Power 6's teams, 9 Women's 4's teams, 10 Coed Int 6's teams, and 4 Intermediate 4's teams.  We will be playing 4 matches every night on 3 courts and 2 matches on a 4th. 

Due to the odd number of teams in both the Power 6's and Women's 4's leagues combined with a shortage of available court space, there will be a bye each night in those leagues. 

Also, FYI, for the 5 weeks between Feb 23 and Mar 22 there will be junior high school league matches on courts 1 & 2 so our leagues playing on those courts normally will move to courts 4 & 5 and the Intermediate 4's will move to courts 1/2 at 8:30 or 9:30 times.

The league schedules will take a little time to work out, with 19 special requests for each week (many of which were people working who could not make 6:30 games, so we only have one 6:30 match each week). 

The Sunday league schedules are posted.  As of today, one of the group B teams (Sam is my hero) is switching with one of the teams in group A (I'd Hit That).

- group A with 10 teams has all 9 weeks of round robin play scheduled... the 3 remaining weeks will be scheduled later based on standings after the completion of round robin play.  At that time, the 10 teams will be broken into a couple smaller upper and lower groups, and then have 3 weeks of bracket play scheduled within those groups.  That will complete the 12 matches for group A, scheduled to end on Mar 25th. 

- group B with 7 teams has all weeks of play scheduled with at least one double header each week (3 double headers in the 2nd week of the 5) so each team will have played the other 6 teams once.  The first round robin is complete and the second 5 week round robin picked up after the Superbowl.  The two round robins will complete the 12 matches for group B, scheduled to end then in mid-March.

Because the number of games each of the switching teams had played at the time of the switch, team "I'd Hit That" will have one more match in group A on the last week of play.

Asics Midwest Power League, 17s Division

This weekend the 17s division was split into two groups, A and B.  The top 7 teams are in Group A and the bottom 6 teams are in Group B.  Each group will play each other over two days and the winner will be determined by the following:

If 2 teams are tied based on Match winning %, then their head to head match result from this weekend will determine the winner.  

If 3 or more teams are tied based on Match winning %, then Set winning % from this weekend will be used to break the tie, if any number of teams are still tied, then Point Differential from this weekend will be the tie-breaker.  If they are still tied, we will flip a coin.

Asics Midwest Power League, 18s Division

Tie-breaking procedure after round-robin play to seed into brackets is the following:

If 2 teams are tied based on Match Record, thier head to head match result will determine the winner

If 3 or more teams are tied based on Match Record, Set winning % is then used, if any number of teams are still tied at Set winning %, then Point Differential will determine winner of the tied teams.  If Point Differential is tied, then a coin will be flipped.

Teams will be seeded into double-elimination brackets in this manner:

Gold 4-team bracket:  Seeds 1-4

Silver 4-team bracket:  Seeds 5-8

Bronze 4-team bracket:  Seeds 9-12

Copper 4-team bracket:  Seeds 13-16

Sunday play will begin at 9:30 am for the 18s division.
